Symfony2.5 dynamic connections -

i'm wondering best , up-to-date solution have dynamic connections symfony2 entity manager? symfony 2.5 or future.

so controller, like: $this->getmanager()->switchconnection($db_name,$db_user,$db_pass);

i know there solution floating around using reflections or connection wrappers, wondering if newer/simpler has emerged?
