Which RDBMS is closest to the standard SQL -

i'm looking free rdbms closest standard sql (maybe latest sql edition, 2011) , want introduce db course of study students. practice newbie students work , query on standard sql, popular rdbmses mysql have lots of differences standard edition, confusing them.

which popular rdbms meeting requirement? please provide reasons , references recommendation.

p.s : i'm not looking such rdbms educational purposes. that's example. mentioned illustration because if didn't, people inquire : "why want ?!"

hypersql 2 supports dialect of sql defined sql standards 92, 1999, 2003, 2008 , 2011. means feature of standard supported, e.g. left outer join, syntax specified standard text. syntactic features of sql-92 advanced level supported, sql:2011 core , many optional features of standard. work in progress formal declaration of conformance.

at time of release, hypersql supports widest range of sql standard features among open source rdbms.
