of course, there's issue of loading times. that's why putting javascript @ end of html has been recommended.

however, there cases shouldn't done? there disadvantages method?

afaik, there disadvantages in specialized cases. example, if you're using javascript load web fonts, may want necessary requests started asap. adam beres-deak had post on recently.

for run of mill javascript code, though, there aren't disadvantages.
