apache - PHP not creating session -

i able create sessions on 3 days ago. code remained unchanged. can't create session. error message: warning: unknown: failed write session info (files). please verify current setting of session.save_path right (c:\web\dev\session) in unknown on line 0.

if re-create path c:\web\dev\session windows run command, opens path have verified path exists. error: warning: session_start(): session id long or contains illegal characters, valid characters a-z, a-z, 0-9 , '-,' in c:\web\dev\backdoor\request.php on line 10 don't specify php id.

my code looks this:

$user_row array users info session in it.

session_save_path('c:\web\dev\session'); session_start(); $_session['user'] = $user_row; $_session['security']['ip'] = $_server['remote_addr']; if (isset($_server['http_x_forwarded_for'])) { $_session['forwarded_for'] = $_server['http_x_forwarded_for']; } else { $_session['security']['forwarded_for'] = false; }

i'm using apache 2.4 , php 5.6

i have seen this link seems resolve issue if using iis. can't seem find solution apache.

i have tried remove .htaccess file root directory.

try setting php session id , see if works.

i had same problem , when set php id worked. think bug or glitch in new php version needs addressed
