i have master study multiple sub-reports generates pdf. printed our clients, needs have page numbers , toc reference particular sub-report resides in printed report.

ssrs doesn't have ability create toc pages.

what best work-around problem?

estimating page number particular sub-report starts on page size, row size, nb of rows etc, isn't option, because reports have different fonts , row sizes depending on data.

ok, i've found adequate solution i've built poc on - , works.

its 2 pass approach, using custom external assemblies. first rendering sub-reports populate table of contents table, , running master study , displaying toc results on toc page, , after sub-reports agaain.
