Mamp mysql server does not start on Yosemite ios8 -

this follow of issue: problems apache mamp 3 , yosemite

i have followed recommendation (upgrading mamp latest version) mysql server still not start: using default ports 8888 , 8889. when setting different port (e.g., 80) both servers not run...xamp works fine instead.

i had same problem running mamp, found updating envvars_ file under mamp/library/bin _envvars , changing apache port 8888 , mysql port 3306 got working me.
