i have been trying install coldfusion 11 on mac os x 10.10, 64 bit (yosemite), fails. when open terminal , type java -version says:

java version "1.7.0_71" java(tm) se runtime environment (build 1.7.0_71-b14) java hotspot(tm) 64-bit server vm (build 24.71-b01, mixed mode)

i think means have 1.7 jdk?

i download latest install mac os x yesterday adobe, , first part of install seems install (running app cases no errors), not write httpd.conf file. add together index.cfm directoryindex in httpd.conf file . when go admin url downloads index.cfm file. when utilize build in web server (port 8500).

when seek install on localhost (port 80) cfide not written /library/webserver/documents folder. want install cf 11.

as been able install cf 11 mac os x yosemite?

i uninstalled cf 10 , installed cf 11 in place. had few hiccups installation.

make sure take tomcat / apache setup. utilize /private/etc/apache2 config folder. 1 time nail admin url, may nail nullpointerexception error. if so, take @ this article how prepare it. cf install cfide needs it, not want it. can create map in vhosts.conf file.
