i need help, i'm new joomla, i've created website friend- http://www.maverikswarehouse.com i'm stuck on menus active states i'm using favouritedark theme

i've created hidden menu, these have category blogs in them, how create main menu items in active state while 1 of posts in hidden menu clicked?

for example- click on gallery, click on 1 of items, redirect article post, gallery menu no longer active. how create active?

the easiest way have hidden menu items submenu-items of visible menus. this:

mainmenu:

gallery item 1 item 2 other menu items ...

now, if go item 1, gallery class=active, , can utilize style it. have create sure leve2 2 of menu not displayed. can done in many ways, easiest configure in module, can set levels should display. if not work you, can hide individual items setting display:none on each item want hide.
