i'm using this illustration chrome app base of operations browse multicast dns. working quite , gives me service name , ip of service provider.

how register service other devices such android nsd or apple bonjour find chrome app?

i've been trying figure out well. don't know if possible.

i want point out multicast dns chrome app doesn't work on chrome os. seems there bug in chrome os prevents .local resolving.

so if need chrome os support, don't think there way mdns right now.
