i have been studying how link creates custom products. part confuses me whenever add together necklace different length, pendant still centered @ end of necklace. next image shows place pendant.

here fiddle. realized pendant's styles top , left changes whenever necklace changes, somehow observe endpoint of necklace , calculate top , left of pendant , place pendant there.

therefore, possible observe pointed area progromatically using either php or jquery image processing? if not, technique used place pendant on right place.
